I am having trouble getting the UNIX version translated and compliled for the Amiga. The Amiga desperately needs some good network-related games, which are available by the dozens for MAC, IBM, and X11. If anyone has the inclination, what they should do is port NetHack completely to the Amiga by adding full color graphics, like the producers of Moria have done for the Amiga version. Perhaps they could add the capability to use any of the multiple-serial-port boards for the Amiga 2000, and also the internal Supra modem. The same could perhaps be done for the other network games, including NetTrek and XTrek. The game should work like some of the more recent terminal programs, in that the user just tells the program which serial.device file to use, and the game uses it. If anyone would be willing to do this, I am sure a lot of Amiga users would appreciate it.
