At TCU (Texas Christian University), we run OSVS1 under VM rel 5. Our operations staff runs a sophisticated accounting package to "charge" users. However, only paper charges (lines printed) are actually being charged to each department. Is there anyone taking usage from an OS system's SMF records using a simple way of just pulling basic items to a file - such as paper usage, maybe even CPU? Then we can simply use VM DISKACNT data and have a simple method. One less cumbersome system is my goal. Thanks to any who might be able to help.....
