I think the problem of duplicate mail (IBM-MAIN and a couple of lists)
was solved last night...

NETNEWS@TREARN had a subscription to the list and it was somehow reposting
mail to the list -- making TREARN always send a second copy to IBM-MAIN
subscribers.  Darren (our IBM-MAIN list owner) removed NETNEWS@TREARN
from IBM-MAIN. Thanks, Darren... :-)

Hopefully, Turgut or Esra at TREARN can find out what went wrong...
Maybe there is already a NETNEWS feed of IBM-MAIN somewhere else?
