The post-processor handles the problem, so no node specific information is necessary in the :routtab tag. Moreover, this is the proper place (post-proc) for making adjustments in format. Note that GR could do the same thing, but new code would be necessary. fastrout shares the shortest path and cycle trimming code as in pathalias. It will have none of the liabilities of GR to which Mike Gettes alluded. I'm just about ready to ship fastrout to folks that volunteered for porting.
