We will be making NOTIS accessible to all mainframe terminals on campus as well as through dial-up. We only want these people to be able to access OPAC, so we are forcing them into OPAC by specifying a transaction ID of LUxx in the TCT. But when we do this it is then impossible for that terminal to log off of the CICS region. While this is acceptable for our library terminals which are dedicated to OPAC it is unacceptable for the "outside" terminals which are not. Have other installations encountered this problem? If so, how did you solve it? Are we on the right track or do we need to use another technique? We are an MVS/ESA shop running CICS 2.1.1 Thanks in advance.
