They were all ready to go with unshielded twisted pair ethernet. Then, one of thier consultants suggested they go with token ring. I do not know enough about these matters to form a fair suggestion, so I am turning to the net for some advice. What are the advantages and/or disadvatages of the different setups from a price, performance, user and managers stand-point.
