Unfortunately, due to the design and implementation of the 2.1x shells, the maximum throughput that one can get is 40% of the bandwidth. I currently have some remote networks connected through a 56Kb line and the maximum transfer rate that I can get over the remote bridge is 3 KBytes/sec, or 24 KBits/sec. I have passed the problem onto Novell for further information.
