I'm sure that PACS-L users would be interested in hearing about the
user surveys mentioned in this message, so feel free to post information
about surveys dealing with the need for future public-access computer systems
to PACS-L.  A summary of the major findings would be most appropriate.

The library's automated information services sometimes may not reflect
what its public perceives as meeting their informational needs.  Tulane
University will be surveying faculty and students to determine the
sorts of information services and products which should be added or
expanded in the next few years.  Has any other library conducted a
recent survey of this type?  Would you be willing to share your
experience or your survey instrument?  If so, please respond to me,
not to the list.  Thanks.
