There is a separately orderable set of filters & drivers ("PageMaker 3.0 Filter/Driver Pack 1.0). It allows WP5 import, and also gives you "SMART ASCII", which is much better than the default ASCII import. I believe the disk & instructions were cheap (sorry, can't remember prices).
