One good way to connect the HP7475A plotter to a DEC VT340 is to connect
the two devices in "eavesdrop mode" which involves a Y cable connection
between your port, terminal, and plotter. This is all explained nicely
in the SAS GRAPH GUIDE TO HARDWARE INTERFACES.  I have a LA75 printer,
and HP7475 plotter both connected to my VT340 and I am very pleased
with the way everything works together.
