I am using WordPerfect 5.0 and have run into a situation in which
I need to print control codes along with printable characters (the
control codes are printer commands).  Is there any way I can get
WP to pass through the actual control code and stop printing the
ASCII representation??  (I get ^: printed when I want a hex 1C).
