X-To: swl-l@cuvmb.cc.columbia.edu To: UofToronto LAN redistribution Message-ID: <90Feb9.092758est.58024@ugw.utcs.utoronto.ca> Newsgroups: bitnet.swl-l Distribution: ut Approved: devnull@gpu.utcs.toronto.edu well, i have a crummy old shortwave radio, but it works, and i like to screw around nights, seeing what channels i can get. i know what i can get, but i don't always know where to find it. is there a guide one can get to some of the more common sw channels? also, radio moscow broadcast an address the other night that one could send to to receive a catalogue of recordings (talk, culture, music etc.) to buy(?) did anyone, by chance, get this address? i got pieces of it, but wasn't able to slap a tape in to record it... help would be appreciated. on that note, does anyone know if any other stations put out catalogues of this sort? i am especially interested in finding tapes of music... thanks for help! -joel metz (mantis@ucscb.ucsc.edu)
