Archive-files: saytime.tar.Z Reposted-by: emv@math.lsa.umich.edu (Edward Vielmetti) In the referenced message, I wrote: }Those of you who (a) have SPARCstations and (b) can FTP, might want }to check out ftp.ee.lbl.gov:saytime.tar.Z. Initial response has been almost unanimous: "How do I make it louder?" Well, there's a way to make your SPARCstation's default volume be louder, but I'm not allowed to tell you about it. Instead, I have increased the volume of the samples until they seem loud enough on a freshly rebooted SPARC. Fetch this new version as above. Also included in the new tar file is a shell script version of saytime, by david@eng.sun.com. The second most common response has been "I can't FTP can you mail it to me?" The answer to this is, of course, that I can but I won't. Perhaps it will appear in comp.sources.sun eventually; perhaps not. If you want it now, you either FTP it or you find someone other than myself who can FTP it and is willing to mail it to you. --- Jef Jef Poskanzer jef@well.sf.ca.us {ucbvax, apple, hplabs}!well!jef "Erased... from existance!"
