Ok, I tried using the autoftp that is contained in this basenote and I
saw a behavior that I thought was a little strange.

After each file, autoftp logs off!  This means that it has to try to log
on again for each file.  After trying for a long time to get into 
SIMTEL, doesn't it make sense to transfer *ALL* of the desired files 
instead of just one?  I don't understand the rationale here or maybe 
something is broken.
