Keywords: Spelling Message-ID: <~B7F`*@rpi.edu> Date: 10 Feb 90 06:15:48 GMT Sender: xorcist@mts.rpi.edu (Joe Schwartz) Distribution: usa Organization: Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy NY Lines: 12 Can anyone recommend some technical articles describing the latest spelling-checker technology, including dictionary structure and search algorithms? I need to be able to find the "closest matches" to a given word if an exact match isn't found. Ideally, the dictionary should support multiple-word entries and dynamic insertion of new entries, but I can live without those. Please reply by e-mail; I'll summarize any responses I receive.
