I have a Telebit (T2500) connected to a Sparc1.  One of the sites we
have to call has a modified chat script which sets one of the S
registers to a non-default value.  We have the S register set which
should reset the modem when DTR drops, but we discovered that the
modem never gets reset because DTR is not dropped upon hangup.  Thus,
the next time a different site tries to call in, our modem
configuration is screwed up.  I seem to remember something about some
problem with the Sparc1 not dropping DTR, but I don't remember where I
saw that, or what any possible solution was.
