Tim, 

Have you heard about EDUCOM or WISCWARE?  Both are higher-ed software
distributors, they may be able to offer some suggestions.  As for the 
primary schools - I don't know, I guess ask your parents what they think,
as teachers they are probably as close to it as anyone else.
