Sure why not? then when the comp.graphics regulars get tired of reading about CAD, then we will have an excuse to start a new newsgroup. Some Background on what I use CAD for: I am using AutoCAD R10 on a Compaq-386/20 running on MSDOS that is running under InterActive Unix (is that complex or what?). It flies. I am using the Paradise-16 VGA card, and have no problems. I do electrical drafting, some artwork for business presentations, and diagrams for user manuals. Why don't we start an alt.CAD newsgroup? Does anyone know how to go about doing so? and how to get the distribution going? I know you don't have to go through standard channels to start an Alt group, since it is carried only by sites that request it. the only problem would be convincing every site between all of us to carry it. -- John Sparks | D.I.S.K. 24hrs 1200bps.
