I want to give away my Epson and buy an HP Laser Jet II P. My concerns are: 0. Is my five-year-old-XT too old to drive the new HP laser jet II P? 1. Can I simply use the port for my Epson to drive the HP? 2. Do I need any software other than "copy ascii-file lpt1:"? 3. Do I have to use "mode" command? If so, what are the parameters? 4. Are there any switches inside HP which need to be adjusted? If there are netters who are successful in using XT to drive HP LJIIP I will feel confident in buying one. Thanks for your attention.
