Is anyone familiar with the Fujitsu Desktop Laser Printer? I got a catalog (of a discount place) in the mail yesterday, and they are selling the Fujitsu Desktop lp for $899 (they say that list is $2555, which I imagine is an inflated price). In the blurb they mention that it uses "LED head/electro-photography printing." Is this good? Bad?? Other questions that I have : - Is this a good printer? - Is $899 a good price for this? - How much are toner cartridges? - Can you run transparencies through this laser printer? - What is needed to upgrade the Ram? Just chips? A board? Special chips? - If you have one, do you like it? Pros? Cons? Also, how does this printer compare to, say, the HP Laser Jet IIP? I just started reading this newsgroup, so I don't know if there has been a review posted here on either the Futjitsu lp or the HP LJ IIP. Could someone fill me in? Is there anything else I should know?? Note: I don't get a chance to read this newsgroup very often, so I would prefer if you could email me your responses/opinions/etc. If there is enough interest, I'll summarize and post the responses. Please mail to the (work) address listed below. Thank you very much.
