I have some problems with installing elm2 (including patches 1 & 2) under
SunOS 4.0.3:

1. the configuration script Configure.sh does not recognize sun -
   it tests the return value of 'uname' against 'sun' (should be sunos).
   Also, the entry dor sun does not list the operating system as being of
   type 'BSD'. Consequentially the program tries to link in several System
   V include files.

2. After changing the above mentioned  entries in the Configure.sh script
   into 'sunos' and 'BSD' the following problems remain:

	a) warnings for illegal pointer combinations in:
		editmsg.c
		file_utils.c
		showmsg.c
		syscall.c

	b) opt_utils.c: redeclaration of cuserid

	c) reply.c:	buffer undefined
			comment undefined
			syntax error etc
 
Has anybody installed elm2 under SunOS 4.0.3. If so, how ???
