I'm maintaing a mail reader that tries to recognize and extract returned mail. At present an if-clause is required for every different delivery agent, because they all have a different way of heralding the beginning of an undelivered message. I'd love to see existing delivery agents adopt the standard as well, but at the very least I hope no new mailers will ignore it.
