Well, here's the summary in case you wanted to know..... 1) Which symposia do you reguarly attend? [occasionally] 3 [fall only] 1 [both] 1 2) how do YOU justify going? - support from boss who is also active in decus - requirement stipulated before person took current job - cost is "fraction" of yearly salary, and gains a lot for company - stay up to date, etc. (typical DECUs justification) - gets comnany "credit" for presenting session(s) (I thought this was a pretty interesting range of justifications..) 3) What is your position?
