From what was mentioned at a local users group meeting here about the upgrade,
it sounds like Commodore wants your keyboard for the trade-in, not the CPU. It
sounds like there might be some consideration to letting the owner keeping the
keyboard also though. I wasn't paying close attention because I sold my 1000
to a friend and went with the upgrade the first time around.
