I have Edwin Hoogerbeets excellent mv/cp/rm v1.1 utility, but I tend not to use it because I cannot close a window after it has been used in that window. I am using Ashell currently, but I really would like to be able to use this utility. With conman and Ashell, it says "Shell 6 ending" or whatever but doesn't close the window. If I call up a new shell, it is called Shell 6 so the system must think the first shell closed, I just can't get rid of the window. I like mv because it has the -i option to prevent overwriting even when moving/copying across devices. Is there another utility that does this? Hmmm... this turned out to be 2 questions in one! Thanks, one and all. sandy antunes ------------ Sandy Antunes "the Waupelani Kid" 'cause that's where I live... antunes@astro.psu.edu Penn State Astronomy Dept --- "once in a lifetime there comes a time... but this ain't it" ---
