What they are currently doing is "pseudo-legal", apparently. As they haven't been sued yet I imagine it's legal enough. The "hardware" does two things: it gives you a place to put the ROMs so they can be read by AMax. Secondly it allows you to a Macintosh drive. This is impossible without the hardware, so these people with the cracked version have to rely on others to transfer software for them. This version is readily available. I feel that the price is quite low for the two products and that if you can afford it piracy is "inappropriate".
