Dept., Univ. of Notre Dame Lines: 40 I'm hoping to add a few enhancements to my amiga system, and I need some advise. 1) Which multisync monitors work well with the amiga? I am looking at the NEC IIA and the NEC 3D. 1a) Will these monitors handle interlace correctly by themselves, or do I have to buy the flicker fixer card to get rid of all the high res. flicker? 1b) Will these monitors support all of the graphics modes of the ECS? The NEC 3D supports 1024 x 768 and the NEC IIA supports 800 x 600. 1c) Do these monitors scan down to 15Mhz? i.e. Can I plug them straight into my amiga without the flicker fixer card? 1d) What are my other options? 2) What 24-pin dot matrix printers work well with Amigatex? I am looking at the NEC 5200 and the Panisonic KX-P1124. 2a) Do the standard Workbench printer drivers work well with these printers or are there some incompatibilities? 2b) Do the Amigatex printer drivers work well with these printers or are there some incompatibilities? 2c) What are my other options? 3) Which internal modems work well on an A-2000? 3a) I read on comp.sys.amiga last week that there are problems with the Supra internal modem and some games (eg. Populus) Is that the fault of the game or the modem? 3b) Are there any other internal modems for the A-2000 other than the Supra? If so, what are the merits of each? Thank's in advance. David E.
