(513) 252-7681 Lines: 22 On the 030 board. It runs at 25 MHZ (68000 runs at 7.something). But custom chip (Denise, angus and Paula) coprocessors all still run at the 7.** rate. Sooo, this is 3.6 times as fast for processor type operations. BUT, ther REAL speed comes in applications that use the math coprocessor (68882, 25MHz) onthe 030 board. Programs that have version that use this chip, (mostly race-tracing programs like turbo silver and Sculpt Animate) can cut time to render down to 20% and more. 2620 benchmarks are in Aiga Whirled july 89. Fast ram: is about 3 time faster. See article for more.
