But I have a few questions first. These are not of the "What is it, what does it do, is it bigger than a Bridge Board" type variety since this and another skrimish in the processor wars was recently hashed out here... I *WOULD* however, like to hear from those of you out there who already have a 2630 and have spent some time with it. I'd like to know A. perceived/measured speed increases you've found B. Your system configuration C. Any problems/bugs you've had with the 2630 working with your system (system/peripheral problems, execessive GURU-ing, etc.) D. Software packages that work either *REAL* well or break real easy Please reply by mail on this as I've noticed things like this tend to degenerate into processor/architecture sniping real quick when broadcast to the net in general.
