I own an A2000 and am thinking about getting AMax for use with MIDI and word processing software (although I don't feel the same about Apple Computers, I think some Mac programs work well and are worth my money). My question is: If I do get the real thing (i.e. the AMax box w/ROMS and a Mac drive) will I be able to use my Amiga MIDI interface with it, or will I have to do some special hacking? I also heard someone say that Amiga printer drivers can't be called from Mac programs. I'm not sure that's true, but if it is, is there a way to hack that too? Or does AMax only allow you to run programs which don't use perpihs? Thanks for any information or advice, please reply via e-mail to avoid net.clutter, and, of course, after a while I'll post a summary. Evan A.
