Lines: 29 WARNING!!!!! All PPage 1.3 users listen up!!! I was working on a very complex page of text and graphics in ProPage 1.3, when I tried to re-load the file and this nasty little requester pops up on my screen - "Can't understand format string" - (Cancel) (Stop) (Continue) No matter what I did from there, I would then get an even nastier little requester - "Document file is corrupt" (resume). The file was intact from a DOS perspective (no bad/unreadable sectors) but PPage choked on something IT WROTE into my file on the last save. I called Gold Disk Tech support and the guy said "Oh no! that problem?" It's a bug they are well aware of and it appears to be related to doing saves while in magnification 200%. The only help they could offer was the advice not to save in 200% mag anymore and "probably it would be best not to work in 200% anymore". I do most of my work at 200% (high detail and fine print). I'm not a happy camper! A package of this price shouldn't have little bugs like this running around! Anyway Gold Disk doesn't offer any "un-corrupting" service as the only one that knows the file format is the developer that rarely ever comes in to work 'cause he works out of his house. It may be 6 months before a fix is offered, according to Tech support.
