A few days ago, I posted an article on my friend's A500 tower. Well, we are having a difficult time bringing it out and won't have mass quantities out till March. We can squeeze out a few for those who are seriously considering it. In the mean time, my friend started working on another less aggressive product. How about a very low end version which is much cheaper. Actually we're thinking of putting out just a new case for the 500 which is significantly smaller and only supports two floopy drives and the detachable keyboard. So it's more of an aesthic upgrade then a practical one. In the other words, all you get is a DETACHABLE keyboard and a bay for another floppy. Everything else is the same. You get your expansion port open like the 500's. It's like a 128 to 128D conversion for the A500. Don't quote me on the price, but we project it around $50 for the entire set. What do you guys think? Is there a market for this???? -Viet vho@ucsd.edu
