Lines: 23 It was suggested to me by several kind people on the net that we: 1) ground our pals 2) terminate our bus 3) replace the pals to overcome similar problems (will not load workbench) when adding a CMI accelerator to a A1000 with a Starboard. We first determined that the CMI would run without the Starboard, we already knew that the Starboard would run without the CMI PA. We first grounded our pals -- did not help. Then we built a bus termination circuit on a card. It cost about $40 and fixed the problem. The A1000 now also seems to be resistent to inexplicable lockups and crashing. I recommend this effort and cost if you plan to keep your A1000.
