Normaly the system software takes into account the aspect ratio of the given monitor however the monitor itself is largely to blame for non 1 to 1 aspect ratios. The dot pitch and several other factors like mask density (how close are the dots and what shape) make a lot of difference. gee I think I just pulled a yes Gilligan. In any case I don't know for sure which monitors have square pixels and which don't. The multi-sync 3d I have here at work seems to have sort of round ones. the AMIGA 1080/1804 I have at home seems to have rectangular ones. Scott -- Scott Beckstead | Sew Crates was a grate greek.
