Yes, I have had a Amiga 2000 keyboard connected to my Amiga 1000 for about
two years know.  The process is very simple.  All of the Inputs lines for
both systems are the same.

What you will need is...

     - female 5pin din plug (I used a midi extension cable)
     - modular phone headset jack.

the plugs should look something like this

         Amiga 2000       Amiga 1000
      ---------------- ----------------

            *****       ** ** ** ** **
           **   **      **1**2**3**4**
          **  3  **     ** ** ** ** **
         **       **    ** ** ** ** **
female> ** 2     4 **   ** ** ** ** **  <male
        **         **   **************
        **         **   **************
         ** 1   5 **     ************
          **     **      ************
           **   **           ****
            *****            ****   < locking clip on plug

and the cross-wiring is as follows

         Amiga 2000       Amiga 1000
      ---------------- ----------------

          1           to      3
          2           to      1
          3           to      2
          4           to      4
          5 (unused)
