Lines: 12 I have A-max and a mac-compatible drive and I am very satisfied with them. As anyone who has used it will know, A-max only comes with software that transfer data from Mac to A-max and not the other way unless you've got a Mac drive. One idea struck me the other day, rather spending money on the drive, why not get one of CrossDos or Dos-2-Dos ( any other PD equivalent ), convert your data file using BinHex, transfer to the AmigaDos format ( with the supplied software ), copy to an IBM disk and get this file to the Mac and convert back to its original form using BinHex again. I did the get this file to Mac bit using a PC in my dept. that has a Mac drive but for those who have access to a Mac which has the new FDHD ( high density ) drive ( ie anything above the SE ), they could use the File Exchange software that comes with all systems. Am I right in this?
