The monitor, which I highly recommend as an alternative to Apple's, works like a champ with both analog and digital modes. The problem I'm having is that there is just one plug on the monitor, and it's an odd eight-pin connector (2 across, 4 down with a gap between the first and second pins going down). I'd like to buy or make a switch for them, but have never heard of such a beast pre-made. I think Radio Shack sells the connectors, but short of having 8 little two-way switches, I can't think of a good way to switch them. Any EE's (or others :) out there have any good ideas? Also, if anyone thinks of another newsgroup that might be of help, let me know -- I looked for a comp.sys.switches but was disappointed. :) Rob Knauerhase +----------------------------------------------------------------+ |Rob Knauerhase |Case Western Reserve University| |rck@ces.cwru.edu |CREN (BitNET): Knauer@CWRU | |rck@scl.cwru.edu |GEnie: R.Knauerhase | |Q: What do you have if you have an IBM enthusiast buried up to | | his neck in sand? | |A: Not enough sand. | +----------------------------------------------------------------+
