Subject: CP/M Kermit for Franklin 1200 w/ PCPI Applicard

As one of Columbia University's CP/M Kermit distributors, I am
trying to get Kermit-80 for Franklin 1200 with a PCPI Applicard
and the Franklin Dual Interface (parallel and serial ports).

Kermit for Apple II's is available in the following configurations
(taken from the CP/M Kermit docs):

    APP  Apple II with Z80 card
	      - with Micromodem in slot 2
	      - with 6551 and 6850 UARTs
	      - with CP Multifunction card

Will one of these work with this Franklin?

Also, assuming that we can get a Kermit that will work, can the PCPI
card read Microsoft Softcard format disks?
