I am posting for a friend who wants to install a Seagate 277N-1 
(scuzzi) hard drive in his Apple //e.

Does anyone know of any software that can perform a low-level format
of such a drive ? 

If a low-level format has been performed on the drive via Macintosh
, will it work on the Apple //e. 

Any Apple Gurus please respond.
