Basicly, Yes!  
1.  Make sure that the replacement is the same type.  That is, MFM, RLL, SCSI.
2.  Give some thought to the power supply capacity in the SUPRA box.  As
    they supported many drives, it can probably handle whatever you buy.

If there is an Adaptec 4000A inside, its MFM.
If there is an Adaptec 4070A inside, its RLL.
