Not only >is it very powerful, but it has a excellent manual, and is CHEAP!! PAF is supposed to be quite good, but the ultimate genealogy program is Roots III, from CommSoft, 2257 Old Middlefield Way, Mountain View, CA 94043, phone (800)-327-6687, BBS (415)-967-6730. Its ease of data entry, reporting, and print formatting surpass anything else which is available. You just can't appreciate the difference until you see it for yourself. Call the toll-free number and request their product literature. The bad news is twofold: It's only available for MS-DOS (written in assembler), and it costs a couple of hundred dollars. The good news is that it is supposed to run just fine under pc-Ditto. -- Bob Breum uunet!tarpit >---v--< petsd 1701 Missouri Avenue hoptoad >---| Sanford, FL 32771-9722 USA ucf-cs >---+-----------------> !peora!cmpfen!bob +1 407 322-2002 uiucuxc >---'
