PAF is supposed to be quite good, but the ultimate genealogy program
is Roots III, from CommSoft, 2257 Old Middlefield Way, Mountain View,
CA 94043, phone (800)-327-6687, BBS (415)-967-6730.  Its ease of data
entry, reporting, and print formatting surpass anything else which is
available.  You just can't appreciate the difference until you see it
for yourself.  Call the toll-free number and request their product
literature.  The bad news is twofold: It's only available for MS-DOS
(written in assembler), and it costs a couple of hundred dollars.  The
good news is that it is supposed to run just fine under pc-Ditto.
