Some programs which have keyboard commands, such as WordPerfect I heard rumours some time ago that this was a side-effect (maybe or maybe not intentional) of an early PD program called UHRLI.ACC, which when selected would put a small digital clock display inside a tiny window. I certainly have not seen the problem since I bought a cheap digital watch to hang beside the computer, and stopped using UHRLI.
