I know that if I were connecting through hardwired tty ports, I could use "/etc/gettydefs", but is there something I can do in the case of Ethernet ports? As a side note, I have changed the /etc/gettydefs entry for the console terminal, but it also returns to the " login:" version of the prompt if the first login attempt fails.
