Just saw your note and wanted to say hello. My name is Dan and I live in Warrenville, SC, near Aiken, SC. I just finished putting together a Dec100 and I too Love it. I also have have a genuine LA-50 printer. Would be interested in acquiring some swap if you have some to swap or trade. Also maybe you can help me with a problem I have with the LA-50. When I am printing a large file apparently it overruns the buffer and starts pring garbage. I was printing out mailing list labels and at about 100 it goes haywire. I do not have a manual, any suggestions would be appreciated.... I have a Rainbow 100A for sale, 256K RAM, extra memory chips, graphics board installed, VR-241 color monitor, extra mono monitor, GOLD keyboard, DF-112 modem, LA-50 printer, (never got around to buying a hard drive; I'm an ex-DECcie and used the system mostly as a dumb terminal for work [and EASYnet NOTES of course], but am now back in grad school and need to raise some funds), assorted software, including WordPerfect 4.1, SAMNA II/III, DBASE III, Lotus 1-2-3, TK!Solver, M-BASIC- 86, Pascal MT+, PolyCOM, and RM/COBOL. I have all manuals, cables, and diskettes. Willing to deliver within southern New England... I'd like to get $1,000.00 for this system, as it has always been in good working order, no major problems, and could be put to good use, I'm sure, by other faithful Rainbow folks, such as I have been for six years...but the price is negotiable. Thanks for your attention. Dave Hardy --- * Origin: Midnight DEC - The place for DEC sales & information (Opus 1:101/45) ------------------------------
