So, what is the story behind the new HP handheld ? 
what are the specs ? 
I have heard of an HP-48 (it was in one of the programs posted here on how 
to control the beeper of the hp-28s ) (there was one little note on what to 
change in the program to make it run on the HP-48, nothing else...)

come'on guys !! (specially those who are in the Know ...) 

I dont know if I should wait for that Dream (???) machine of go out and buy
the PC-1600 of sharp . 
-It has a big LCD screen ,
-comes with a whooping 16k.
-can be programmed in machine language (lh5801 for compatibility with it little
 brother the pc 1500 or its own z80A)
-all the pc-1500 periph. work on it (printer / k7 interf. , ram exp. )
-the price might hurt a bit (about 350 bucks) . 
-the hackability of the machine is extrememely high.
 
about a message I read earlier, (the guy who has the pc-6).
Sharp is the maker of these machine, tandy is repackaging them ,and sell them
under the tandy logo  and not vice versa ....

- anybody knows about any other big screen POCKET computers ? 
 How come I never found anything in the states about the canon X-O7 ? 
 (with infrared transmitter capability ?)
