Every time I send mail out on the handheld mail net I get two responses back that are listed below. The first says "apparently-To: handhelds@csl.sri.com" The second says "mail delivery error" I have been told that this means that my mail has been getting out, but that one of the sending nodes has a problem. Since the system will not leave undelivered mail, it bounces that one back as an error. If you are reading this would someone please acknowledge it? ****************************************************************************** **************************************************************************** (Message #1) From: yasu@GANDALF.LL.MIT.EDU (Alan Yasutovich) Posted-Date: Fri, 9 Feb 90 12:25:42 EST Message-Id: <9002091725.AA22459@GANDALF.LL.MIT.EDU> Apparently-To: handhelds@csl.sri.com Status: OR ****************************************************************************** ******************************************************************************* (Message #2) From: Network Mailer To: yasu@GANDALF.LL.MIT.EDU Subject: mail delivery error Status: OR Batch SMTP transaction log follows: 220 AKRONVM.UAKRON.EDU Columbia MAILER R2.05 BSMTP service ready. 050 HELO CUNYVM.BITNET 250 AKRONVM.UAKRON.EDU Hello CUNYVM.BITNET 050 TICK 5557 250 5557 ... that's the ticket. 050 MAIL FROM: 250 ... sender OK. 050 RCPT TO: 250 ... recipient OK. ******************************************************************************
