As a dedicated Unix hacker, I haven't kept up-to-date with the latest in the MS/DOS world. Somewhere I recall reading an article that indicated that Microsoft had a new release of Windows/386 in the works that supposedly addressed some deficiencies in the original, added wonderful new features, etc. Anyone out there who is familiar with Windows know anything about this? Any info on possible release dates, expected new features, corrected bugs, etc. would be greatly appreciated. Also, any Windows users who might have any comments on the product in general ... pros and cons ... useful or nasty features ... I'm trying to become an 'educated consumer'. Email if possible as I don't get around to this group that often.
