Lines: 19 There's nothing wrong. The VGA card is doing exactly what it is supposed to do. There are only two possible locations for a text mode screen. B000 (mono) and B800 (color). A VGA can co-exist with a CGA or MDA/Hercules. But to do so, it "loses" all capabilities that would conflict with the other card. Put a CGA in the machine and you lose *all* color mode on the VGA card. Put in a MDA or Hercules, and you lose *all* mono modes.
