Keywords: hide, files, directories,.... Message-ID: <1838@milton.acs.washington.edu> Date: 10 Feb 90 22:50:28 GMT Distribution: na Organization: Univ of Washington, Seattle Lines: 14 What is the best way to hide files and directories? I know that you could set the file attribute to 'hide' or 'system'. But this only prevents the files and directories from appearing when you do a 'dir' in DOS. If you know the file or directory names, you could always 'cd' or 'type' or do whatever you want on those directories and files. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks plenty. -Jimmy
