I had the same problem running united. There is a hypercard stack in the sumex-aim archive that I have been unsing for about 3 months now and it works fine. (It correctly joined the entire technical notes stack). If you cannot use annonymous ftp, send a note and I will post it to comp.mac.binary Alex W.
